University Minor Requirements

Graduates of the B.S. in International Business develop a strong theoretical and practical foundation in international business. Our extensive, internationally focused coursework in both business and liberal arts provides the global perspective that is critical to succeed in the global business arena.

Bryant’s BSIB Program is distinctive in offering concentrations in business functions, providing students with both the breadth of international business and the depth of a specific field of business. This structure allows students to align their international business studies with career interests in areas such as finance, marketing, management, analytics, entrepreneurship, and other globally oriented fields.

BSIB students build practical global competencies through a study abroad semester, applied coursework, and experiential learning. During their senior year, students become consultants for a regional or multinational company to solve a real international business challenge for their clients.

The program emphasizes cultural intelligence, global market analysis, cross-cultural communication, institutional understanding, adaptability, and problem-solving in international contexts. Students may also pursue foreign language minor studies as an optional pathway to deepen their cultural and regional expertise.
